Dedicated to bringing every young person into a direct encounter with the Gospel
Youth Outreach United
The Bay Area Youth Project (formerly the Pinellas Youth Project) was started in Pinellas County, Florida with a goal to establish a campus ministry on every college, high school, middle school and elementary school in Pinellas county.
Pinellas county has one of the largest school districts in the state of Florida, and is one of the largest districts in the United States. (According to Pinellas County School Board: Pinellas is 8th largest of 67 school districts in Florida and 27th out of more than 16,000 districts in the United States.) This mission has now been expanded to reach beyond Pinellas County to the entire Tampa Bay Area!
Our goal is to assist our church and para-church ministry partners by training and mobilizing volunteers into an outreach where they can share the gospel on a regular basis at a campus near their workplace or neighborhood.
If you would like to volunteer for or lead one of these campus ministries, send us an email from our contact page.
If you want to give financially to provide resources for campus ministry, just let us know you want to support The Bay Area Youth Project with your donation.
We currently reach elementary schools through our Ignite 316 program. We reach middle and high school and college campuses through our strategic partnerships with First Priority of Tampa, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and InterVarsity Christian Fellowship.
